REFUND AND RETURNS POLICY

1. Return Shipping Costs

All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless applicable law requires SidePanel.eu to cover them.

If you return an item, you are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping. We recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping your proof of postage.

If an item is defective, damaged, or does not conform to your order, please contact us before returning it so we can arrange an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable law.

2. Return Period and Conditions

At SidePanel.eu, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. In addition to your statutory consumer rights, we offer a 30-day return period from the date of delivery for eligible items, subject to the conditions below.

  • Items returned under our voluntary 30-day policy must be unused and in their original condition and packaging, where applicable.
  • Proof of purchase or your order number is required.
  • The statutory right of withdrawal for eligible online purchases generally applies for 14 days from delivery. Our voluntary 30-day return policy does not limit this legal right.
  • If an item is defective, damaged, or does not conform to your order, your statutory rights remain unaffected.

3. Custom-Made and Personalized Items

Custom-made or clearly personalized items are generally excluded from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal where the legal conditions for this exception are met.

This exception does not remove your rights if an item is defective, damaged, or does not conform to the agreed specifications.

For custom-made side panels, please check the product description and confirm the required dimensions, materials, finishes, and options before placing your order.

4. Refunds

Once we receive a returned item, we will inspect it where appropriate and notify you of the outcome.

For eligible returns:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method, unless another method is agreed with you and permitted by law.
  • Statutory refunds will be processed within the applicable legal timeframe.
  • For statutory withdrawals, refunds will include the standard delivery costs where required by law. Additional delivery costs resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery option may not be refundable.
  • Return shipping costs may be the customer’s responsibility where permitted by law and where the customer was informed before purchase.
  • We will not deduct payment-processing fees or other charges from a statutory refund where such deductions are prohibited by law.

For returns made under our voluntary 30-day policy beyond the statutory withdrawal period, the item must meet the conditions of that policy.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please email contact@sidepanel.eu with your order number and a description of the issue. Photographs may help us assess the situation more quickly.

We will review the issue and explain the available remedies in accordance with applicable law. Where the law requires us to cover return or replacement costs, we will do so.

6. Exchanges

If you need an exchange because an item is defective, damaged, or does not conform to your order, contact contact@sidepanel.eu for instructions.

Exchanges for other reasons are subject to our voluntary return policy and the eligibility of the item.

7. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact contact@sidepanel.eu with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. Wait for our return instructions and, where applicable, a return reference.
  3. Package the item securely to help prevent damage during transport.
  4. Send the item to the return address provided by our team.
  5. Keep your proof of postage and tracking information.

Please contact us before sending an item back. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping.
